About me
Hello, I am Damian Johnson, and I have an extensive CV in media and marketing as well as retail. I have started to teach English and follow a passion from my youth of working with children and young adults.
I have a level 5 Advanced TEFL certificate from i-to-i TEFl and have done additional courses on teaching online and one on one as well as Teaching business English and teaching other subjects and exam preparation for the IELTS.
I am 39 years old and have a passion for teaching. I have been doing adult training throughout my professional life having help a senior management position for over ten years and training staff on procedure, health and safety and the likes.

Teaching philosophy
I believe in speaking and practice as the foundation of language learning and prefer to keep students engaged using technology and games. My base philosophy is to put the students learning first and to build skills in a scaffolding method over a series of lessons creating a firm foundation to build on using real world experiences.
