About me
I’m Tanya, a self-taught learner, passionate about history, bookworm, and closet writer. I started teaching at a very young age by helping my old ESL teachers prepare their classes. It wasn’t until I became a mother that I realized how big my love for teaching was. My beautiful kid inspires me and teaches me about life but most of all, how kids need to be treated, taught, and loved. Since she appeared in my life, I decided to be the kind of teacher I wanted for her. I mean a lovely, tender, and empathic one. Until now, I have been, and I hope to continue being it until my very last day.

Teaching philosophy
As teachers we have the future of the entire world in our hands, we are not only working with children; in their minds there are dreams and amazement that we cannot break on the contrary we have the duty to magnify them and to change their thoughts positively and to transform their minds. That is why I love what I do and feel excited and creative when I plan my lessons and passionate every time I am in front of a class; I am not afraid to smile and look silly to make them feel comfortable in my classroom. Teaching is my revolutionary act because I am not only teaching verbs, structures, functions, lexis… I also promote thinking, analyzing, and growing as critical thinkers through meaningful tasks and projects attached to reality. This is my way to change the world.
