The teaching strategies I apply when teaching online is the use of TPR (total physical response) which helps to create a link between speech and actions. I also make use of flash cards and props to keep the students engaged in class.

I have taught English for 2 years and I have been able to successfully improve my students English speaking skills . I have helped prepared my adults students for job interviews and the young learners I’ve been able to make them good English speakers by using games, songs and educational videos to teach them English and this has made them eager to learn.

What is included in a private session at New Grasp?
Each private session is a one-to-one live English class tailored to your child’s level and goals. The teacher focuses on speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary, and grammar using interactive curriculum, games, and real-life activities. After every session, you receive a progress report with specific feedback and recommendations.
How long is each private session, and how often are they held?
Each private session lasts 25 minutes. The sessions are held twice a week. Our academic team helps you select the best plan for consistent progress.
Who teaches the private sessions?
Private sessions are taught by qualified, experienced English teachers, both native and bilingual professionals trained in TPR, gamification, and whole-brain teaching. All teachers are carefully selected to ensure your child feels supported, confident, and motivated.
Can I reschedule a private session if my child can’t attend?
Yes. You can reschedule up to 8 hours before the class time directly from your dashboard. If you miss a class without prior notice, it will be marked as attended, as teachers reserve that slot for your child.
