Online Teaching Role Details
- Students: Children aged 4–13
- Lesson Formats: Teach live private lessons and interactive group workshops, depending on your assigned schedule.
- Location: Fully remote. Applications are welcome from qualified teachers worldwide, including Egypt, the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada, South Africa, the Philippines, and countries across Europe and Africa.
- Teaching Hours: Assigned lessons are scheduled between 07:00 and 19:00 UTC, based on student schedules, student demand, and academy needs.
- Availability: Teachers should provide reliable, recurring availability within the academy’s teaching hours.
- Teachers Based in Egypt: Full-time and part-time positions may be available, depending on current vacancies and academy needs.
- International Teachers: Flexible, hourly-paid online teaching roles. The number of assigned teaching hours may vary according to student demand, academy needs, and the teacher’s confirmed availability.
- Selection Criteria: Applications are evaluated based on English fluency, clear pronunciation, teaching skills, technical readiness, and schedule compatibility.
Specific schedules, work arrangements, and compensation are confirmed during the recruitment process.
Technical Requirements
To ensure a smooth teaching experience, please make sure your setup meets the following requirements:
- Modern laptop or computer
- Stable high-speed internet connection
- HD camera and clear microphone
- Quiet, well-lit teaching environment
- Ability to use Zoom and online teaching tools comfortably
- Comfortable teaching with energy, interaction, and camera presence online
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy working with children and believe learning should feel interactive, encouraging, and emotionally safe.
- Fluent English speaker with clear pronunciation and strong communication skills
- Warm, expressive, and engaging teaching presence online
- Comfortable using movement, visuals, games, and interaction to keep children engaged online
- Enjoys creating positive, playful, and encouraging learning experiences for children
- Patient, encouraging, and emotionally supportive with young learners
- Experience teaching children online or in interactive learning environments preferred
- Willingness to learn and grow within the New Grasp teaching methodology
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Education, Linguistics, or related field preferred)
- TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification
