The Right Starting Point Matters

Is Level 4 the right level for your child?

Children do not need to start a level simply because of their age or school grade. New Grasp uses a live assessment to identify the most suitable starting point within our curriculum.

1

Book the Free Assessment

Your child meets one of our teachers in a friendly 20–25 minute live one-to-one session.

2

We Recommend the Starting Level

We review your child's current skills and identify the best place to begin inside the New Grasp curriculum.

3

Choose the Learning Program

Once the level is confirmed, you choose the program and subscription duration that fit your child.

What Your Child Will Build

Deeper understanding and more confident communication

Level 4 develops stronger reading, vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking and spelling skills so children can understand increasingly sophisticated English and communicate their ideas more clearly.

📖

Reading

Read and analyse longer stories and informational texts, identify important details and understand ideas beyond the most obvious information.

💬

Speaking

Explain ideas in more developed sentences, give reasons, respond thoughtfully and participate more confidently in guided discussion.

🎧

Listening

Follow more detailed spoken English, identify key ideas and respond appropriately to questions, explanations and classroom interaction.

🧠

Vocabulary

Expand vocabulary across everyday, academic, scientific and social topics and use new language within increasingly varied contexts.

✏️

Grammar

Develop control of more complex sentence structures, connect ideas more effectively and apply grammar with greater accuracy during communication.

🔤

Spelling

Strengthen spelling accuracy and word recognition as vocabulary becomes broader and language patterns become more advanced.

How Learning Works

Live teaching, practice & continuous progress

Level 4 is taught through live private lessons supported by New Grasp's online learning experience.

  • Two live private English lessons each week
  • 25 or 55-minute private sessions depending on the selected program
  • Interactive teacher-led reading, speaking and language practice
  • Online activities and practice between lessons
  • Speaking workshops included in selected programs
  • Progress visible through the Parent Dashboard

A structured curriculum, not random lessons

Each lesson builds on a wider learning sequence. Vocabulary, grammar, reading and communication skills are developed across connected topics so children gradually handle increasingly complex English with greater independence and confidence.

81 curriculum lessons describes the complete Level 4 curriculum content. The length of each live private lesson depends on the learning program selected by the family.
