Level K
A structured early English curriculum that helps young learners expand vocabulary, build stronger sentence patterns, develop phonics and early reading skills, and use English more confidently through live interaction with their teacher.

Is Level K the right starting point for your child?
Age gives us a useful guide, but children at the same age can have very different English skills. New Grasp uses a live assessment to identify the most suitable starting point within our curriculum.
Book the Free Assessment
Your child meets one of our teachers in a friendly 20–25 minute live one-to-one session.
We Recommend the Starting Level
We review your child's current English skills and identify the best place to begin inside the New Grasp curriculum.
Choose the Learning Program
Once the level is confirmed, you choose the program and subscription duration that fit your child.
A stronger foundation for using and understanding English
Level K develops vocabulary, speaking, listening, phonics, early reading and grammar together through familiar themes, stories and structured live practice.
Vocabulary
Build a wider range of useful vocabulary through familiar themes such as school, family, clothes, food, the body and everyday surroundings.
Speaking
Use new vocabulary in increasingly complete sentences, answer questions and practise expressing simple ideas during live interaction.
Listening
Follow teacher instructions, understand familiar spoken English and respond to questions during interactive lesson activities.
Phonics
Practise letters and sounds while regularly revisiting previously learned phonics to strengthen pronunciation and early decoding skills.
Early Reading
Read simple age-appropriate stories and respond to basic questions about what has been read.
Grammar
Build simple sentence structures and practise making statements and asking questions using the vocabulary being learned.
Live teaching, structured practice and regular review
Level K is taught through live private lessons designed to help young learners participate actively and gradually use more English.
- Two live private English lessons each week
- Private session length depends on the selected learning program
- Teacher-led vocabulary, grammar, phonics, reading and speaking practice
- Stories and familiar topics that give language a meaningful context
- Regular review of previously learned vocabulary, language and sounds
- Progress visible through the Parent Dashboard
A structured curriculum, not disconnected activities
Level K follows a connected learning sequence. Vocabulary, sentence patterns, phonics and reading are introduced gradually and revisited throughout the curriculum, helping children strengthen their English step by step.
Learning continues beyond the live lesson
Level K learners have their own playful Kids Dashboard, where practice, progress and rewards come together in one child-friendly learning experience.

Clear next steps
Children can see what to do next and follow their learning journey through simple, visible tasks and progress.

Practice that feels rewarding
Interactive practice, games and rewards encourage younger learners to stay involved between their live lessons.
The dashboard supports the live lesson — it does not replace the teacher. Children learn live with their teacher and use the platform to continue practising and progressing.
English through familiar parts of everyday life
Level K uses familiar themes to expand vocabulary, practise sentence patterns and develop phonics, reading and communication in meaningful contexts.
Know what your child is learning
New Grasp gives families a clearer view of the child's learning journey beyond the live lesson itself.
Parent Dashboard
Access your child's learning information and important academy updates in one place.
Teacher Feedback
Follow what your child practised during lessons and the areas that should continue to be reinforced.
Clear Progression
Your child follows a structured early English level instead of disconnected lessons or random activities.
