Refund Policy

Effective Date: 26 November 2024

This refund policy clarifies your rights regarding refunds and rescheduling requests, in alignment with our general Terms and Conditions.


1. Refund Period

  • For 1-month and 3-month subscriptions: Refunds are available for unused sessions within the first 7 days of the subscription start date.

  • For 6-month and 12-month subscriptions: Refunds are available for unused sessions within the first 50 days of the subscription start date.

  • After the refund period ends, no refunds will be issued. Learners may continue with their remaining sessions until the subscription expires.


2. Refund Requests

  • Refund requests must be submitted via email to parentcare@newgrasp.com with the subject line “Course Cancellation” before the refund period ends.

  • Refunds apply only to unused sessions.

  • If the academy cancels a session and cannot assign a substitute teacher, the session will either be rescheduled or refunded.


3. Group Closures

  • The academy reserves the right to close a group if one or more members withdraw.

  • In such cases, 100% of the remaining unused sessions will be refunded to the remaining participants.


4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days.

  • If you have not received your refund after this period, please check with your bank first. If the issue persists, contact us at parentcare@newgrasp.com.


5. Cancellations, Absences, and Rescheduling

  • Each student may cancel or reschedule up to two (2) sessions per month without penalty, provided notice is given at least 8 hours in advance.

  • Any cancellations or absences beyond this limit will result in the session being deducted from the student’s balance and considered non-refundable.

  • Missed sessions cannot be carried over to the following month.

  • Rescheduled sessions are subject to teacher and schedule availability.

  • Cancellations made within less than 8 hours will result in the session being deducted.

  • If a teacher cancels and a suitable substitute is not available, the session will not be deducted.


6. Freeze Policy

  • Students may freeze their subscription once within every 6-month period, for a maximum of two (2) weeks only.

  • Additional freeze requests will not be accepted.

  • Any missed sessions beyond the allowed freeze period will be considered forfeited and non-refundable.


7. Teacher Cancellations

  • If a teacher cancels a session, a substitute teacher will be assigned.

  • If the substitute is declined by the user, two alternative time slots will be offered to make up the session.

  • If neither option is accepted by the parent within 24 hours, the session will automatically remain open for future rescheduling and will not be deducted.
  • If the session is not rescheduled, it will not be deducted from the user’s balance.


8. Late Arrival and Absences

  • Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. Teachers will remain present in the classroom for the full duration of the session.

  • Any missed time due to late arrival or technical issues on the user’s side will not be compensated, extended, or rescheduled.
